Our housing program provides housing linked, supports and services. North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and North Carolina Housing Finance Agency look to local human service agencies like Chapmans Management Company to make referrals for persons receiving their services and to provide access to supportive services for Targeted Unit tenants. Basic responsibilities of Chapmans Management Company include:
- Making referrals based on professional assessment of each individual’s ability to live in independent housing with the supports and services available.
- Providing access to supportive services for persons referred to Targeted units and being a point of contact should tenants need assistance.
- Collaborating with other community partners to support tenants and build local housing knowledge.
- Ensuring persons with disabilities have access to affordable housing.
